Group Copy Supervisor

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are currently seeking a lead copywriter to join our staff Creative team. This position will assist Creative Services in creation, coordination, execution, and review of print and digital tactics. This copywriter will partner with the full agency team and report to the Director of Creative Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative and strategically sound solutions for client, in-house, and new business needs 
  • Support projects originated by our Creator Hub partners after RC review to final release
  • Lead referencing and annotation support for our tactic adaptation service, ensuring quality and submission compliance
  • Provide additional ad-hoc copy/special project support as needed across agency brands
  • Review copy generated by team members and offer feedback when necessary
  • Collaborate with senior leadership in support of new business proposals and tactical planning
  • Ensure efficient and effective processes are evolved and maintained
  • Collaborate with copywriters in our Creator Hub and editorial staff 
  • Support the evolution of Create NYC’s external creator partner relationships, including recruitment and training
  • Assist in contribution to agency promotion (website, social media, awards, etc)

Required Competencies

  • Experience in preparing references and annotating submissions according to a client's medical/legal/regulatory review process
  • Ability to present to, directly communicate with and be challenged by senior leadership
  • Capacity to “jump in” across projects for different brands and provide thoughtful solutions
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in various forms of media and function autonomously on a day to day basis
  • Detail-oriented and highly motivated with can-do attitude and “how can we” thinking
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while functioning as a member of a highly collaborative team
  • Proficient computer skills including Gmail, Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat

Qualifications

Required:

  • Pharmaceutical advertising agency experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years of pharmaceutical copywriting experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
